What is The Acorn Club?
The Acorn Club is a small group six-month business coaching programme; combining financial clarity, business strategy, and genuine community; designed specifically for heart-led women building businesses they love in Derby and the surrounding area.
It is not a course. It is not a lecture series.
It is a warm, honest, judgment-free space where you can finally look at your business clearly, understand what your numbers are really telling you, and build a plan that works around your real life.

Is this for you?
The Acorn Club is for women who run small businesses in the creative or wellbeing space. You might be a:
- Reflexologist, massage therapist, or aesthetician
- Counsellor, therapist, or coach
- Maker, artist, or designer
- Yoga, pilates, or fitness instructor
- Nutritionist, naturopath, or wellness practitioner
- Any heart-led business woman who loves what she does and finds the business side overwhelming
You do not need to have your finances sorted. You do not need to feel like a business person. You just need to be ready to show up honestly and do the work; with a group of women who genuinely understand.

A note about this first cohort
The Acorn Club is launching for the very first time; and I am looking for eight founding members to be part of something special.
I want the right eight women in the room. Women who are ready to be honest, to show up, and to grow; and whose energy and feedback will help shape every cohort that follows.

The date and location for the Acorn Session will be set once I know who is interested; so that it works for the majority of the group, whether that is a weekday or a weekend.

About Beth
I am Beth Nadin; founder of Purple Squirrel Consultancy and creator of The Acorn Club.
I spent nearly thirty years as a Finance Director and Internal Auditor in large multinational organisations. I left that world behind after burning out, and built a new one; helping small business owners find financial clarity and the confidence to make better decisions.
I set up Purple Squirrel with a deliberate intention: to keep my prices accessible for the people who need help the most. I have been told many times to charge more, aim higher, target people who can afford premium prices. My answer has always been the same: so how are the people who cannot afford that going to get help?
The Acorn Club is the answer to that question; a proper, structured, supported programme at a price that the women I actually want to help can genuinely access.
I created it for the women I keep meeting who remind me of myself. Not the Finance Director version; the version underneath. The one who cares deeply, works constantly, and quietly wonders whether she is doing any of it right.
